Lou passed away unexpectedly April 17, 2021, at the age of 58. He graduated from Notre Dame and started working as an Editor for
Blue & Gold Illustrated in 1984. Lou was the best writer/reporter combination we have ever had the privilege to work with. His knowledge of Notre Dame sports was unmatched, his work ethic was extraordinary, his care for
Blue & Gold Illustrated and BlueandGold.com was at the highest level.
